This delightful cruise, from Bagan to Mandalay aboard the beautifully furnished RV Paukan, adds two nights to our 9 or 11-day Myanmar Tours.
The 55-passenger vessel is a floating boutique hotel where passengers
enjoy great meals, service and accommodations while cruising in
comfort up the Ayerawaddy (also called the Irrawaddy) River, relaxing
and watching the mural of river life as it slowly flows by. Along
the route there are stops at two typical river villages, one of
which specializes in pottery and is the site where the peace
treaty ending the First Anglo-Burmese War was signed.
